Row markers: white keys 1, 5, 9 and 13 glow faintly while their loops are off, so you can see where each row of pools starts on the keyboard. (Not on the Blank Canvas while recording or deleting.)

Chord changes follow the knob: turning PLAY + KNOB 1 quickly through several progressions now brings in the one you land on at the next bar line, instead of playing each one you passed through, a bar apiece.

A new bank: Cyberpunk. A megacity in the rain, in the mood of Blade Runner, in E minor (Em9 - Cmaj7 - Am9 - B7sus4):

• Brass: brass swell (detuned saws, the filter opening slowly, a wide vibrato), low drone, glass pad, dark choir
• Streets: acid rain, a flying car passing over, a street voice far off, distant sirens
• Memories: a lonely sax, a remembered piano, bells, interface bleeps
• Pulse: a big drum in a concrete hall, metal hits, a sequenced bass, ticks

Its banner shows towers in an orange smog, a billboard turning pink to blue, fire bursting from two stacks, a flying car and rain; its pools have two corners cut on the slant. Every sound and picture is original.

The Blank Canvas moves to the end (bank 14). Saved settings and recorded loops from earlier versions are all kept.

Night Café is now lofi beats. The late-night jazz band is replaced by a lofi beat in the same rainy café: dusty Rhodes, sub bass, tape pad and lazy piano; a sleepy piano melody, mellow guitar, flute and music box; a boom-bap kick, a dusty snare laid back behind the beat, swung hats and finger snaps; and vinyl crackle alongside the rain, murmur and espresso. Swung sixteenths, a slow tape wobble and everything gently muffled. New chords: Bbmaj9 - Ebmaj9 - Dm7 - Gm9. Settings saved for Night Café carry over to the new loops in the same places.

Also: the developer benchmark (tools/fm1_bench.py) works again with the wait-for-PLAY start from 1.0.3, and knows every bank.

• Pick your loops, then press PLAY. After switching on, changing bank or stopping, the bar counter waits at bar 1. Loops you pick blink and wait, then start together from the first beat when you press PLAY (or SEQ for autoplay).
• Recorded loops keep playing. Keeping a take on the Blank Canvas leaves it playing, the first loop too, so you can record the next one straight over it.
