Reverbose keeps only what it needs to run the catalog and the community, and nothing is sold.

What we store
- Your account: email address, username, and what you add to your profile (display name, bio, avatar, links, location). With GitHub sign-in, your GitHub account id and username.
- What you do here: listings you submit, votes, saves, follows, posts, comments, reports and suggestions.
- Usage counts: page views (of firmware, threads and profiles), clicks on a firmware’s GitHub and website links, and downloads are counted per viewer with a salted, one-way key (your account when signed in, otherwise your network), so counts are real without storing who viewed what. Creators with Reverbose Pro see these as totals per day, never who the viewers are.
- Abuse protection: your IP address is used briefly to rate-limit sign-ins, sign-ups and posting.
- Reverbose Pro: your subscription’s status and billing dates, and your customer reference at Polar. Card details are handled by Polar and never reach us.
What is public
Your profile, listings, posts, comments and who you follow can be seen by others. Your votes, saves and notifications are private to you (votes only show up as totals).
Who processes it
- Cloudflare: hosting, content delivery and storage of uploaded images; Turnstile checks that sign-ups come from people.
- Supabase: the database and sign-in.
- GitHub: when you sign in with it or list a repo, and for the repository data we show.
- Polar: payments for Reverbose Pro.
Cookies
- A sign-in session cookie, set only when you sign in.
- A theme cookie when you pick light or dark.
- No advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
Your choices
- Edit or clear your profile at any time in Settings.
- Delete your account in Settings. Your profile, uploads, votes, saves, follows and posts are removed; your comments are wiped to “[deleted]” while other people’s replies stay in place; listings of your repos stay as unclaimed listings of the GitHub repo, which you can claim again by signing in with GitHub.
- For a copy of your data or any other request: use Report on your own profile and say what you need.
