The service

Reverbose is a catalog of open-source firmware, mods and tools for music hardware, with community features (votes, saves, follows, posts and comments). Listings point to public GitHub repositories; Reverbose does not host, test or certify the software they contain.

Your account

• You sign in with GitHub or with an email address and password. Keep your sign-in secure; you are responsible for what is done with your account.
• One person, one account. Accounts made to manipulate votes or rankings are closed.
• You can delete your account at any time in Settings.

Listings

• You may list only repositories you control on GitHub. Listing a repo confirms you have the right to share it under its license.
• Listings must follow the community guidelines. We can delist a listing that does not.
• Repository facts (README, releases, stars, license) are read from GitHub and shown as GitHub provides them.

What you post

You keep the rights to what you post (comments, posts, images). You give Reverbose permission to store and display it on the service, and to show it in previews and share images, for as long as it is on the service. Do not post anything you do not have the right to share.

Downloads and safety

Files come from their creators’ GitHub releases and are provided by them under their own licenses. Installing firmware can change or damage your hardware, and can void a warranty. You install anything at your own risk; Reverbose is not responsible for the software listed or for what happens when you install it. Read the creator’s instructions and keep a way to restore your hardware.

Reverbose Pro

Reverbose Pro is an optional subscription to software features: advanced analytics for your own firmware and a Pro badge on your profile and firmware pages. It is billed each period until you cancel, and payments are processed by Polar, the seller of record. You can cancel at any time in your account settings; Pro then stays on until the end of the period you paid for. Pro has no effect on rankings, search order or how visible anything is on Reverbose. If a payment fails, Pro switches off until it goes through. A full refund of the current period’s payment ends the subscription.

Changes and ending

We may change the service or these terms; the date above shows the latest version. We can suspend accounts that break these terms. The service is provided as is, without warranties, to the extent the law allows.
