Takedown requests

Reverbose does not host firmware files: listings link to public GitHub repositories. Here is how to have a listing or content removed.

Last updated 29 October 2026

You own the repository

Sign in with the GitHub account that owns the repo: the listing becomes yours, and you can edit or delist it yourself. If you cannot sign in, send a request as below from an address we can match to the repo (for example one listed in it).

Your rights are infringed

If a listing, image, post or comment on Reverbose infringes your copyright or trademark, send:

  1. The Reverbose page addresses (URLs) of the content.
  2. What you own and how the content infringes it.
  3. Your name and contact details.
  4. A statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised, and that your notice is accurate.

Send it to the moderators with Report in the ··· menu of the content.

The files themselves

The source and release files live on GitHub. Removing a listing here does not remove them there; for that, use GitHub’s own DMCA takedown policy.

What happens next

  1. We confirm we received the request.
  2. Content that clearly infringes is delisted or removed while we review it.
  3. The listing’s owner is told and can respond with a counter-notice; we restore content only when the request does not hold.
  4. Repeated infringement ends in the account being closed.

Everything else that breaks the rules is covered by the community guidelines.
