    ✨ Features & Improvements in this Release

    • Melodee 1.6.1 Core Engine: Upgraded base to Melodee 1.6.1 with 22 sound engines (including SID, Drum 909, FM6, CZ-1, Prophet-5, and MIDI Track), 124 parameters, and 45 globals.
    • Dedicated Bluetooth (BT) Button:
      • Short press toggles Bluetooth ON, initiating search or discoverable mode according to Global settings.
      • Long press (>1.2s) turns the Bluetooth radio completely OFF (BT LED shuts off).
      • Tap Tempo removed from BT button for dedicated, reliable radio operation.
    • Pad MIDI Channel Combo:
      • Moved from GLOBAL + BT to GLOBAL + SEQ REC, freeing the BT button completely in MIDI controller mode. (In v1.4.2: GLOBAL + BT).
    • Physical Drum Pad Isolation:
      • Tapping a physical drum pad (e.g. Pad 1 Kick) illuminates only that pad without triggering duplicate mirror lighting on Pad 12.
    • Dynamic Track Color Pad Illumination:
      • Drum and keys pads dynamically light up using the active track color (Track 1 Cyan, Track 2 Yellow, Track 3 Magenta, Track 4 White, Drum Orange/Amber).
    • Brighter Button LEDs:
      • Increased button LED brightness across the control surface for crisp visibility on stage.
    • State & Sequence Persistence:
      • Sequences, sound design modifications, track parameters, and settings are preserved across power off and reboots.
    • Global TRS MIDI Clock Routing:
      • In INT mode: transmits MIDI clock simultaneously over USB, Bluetooth, and TRS.
      • In TRS mode: transmits clock exclusively over TRS.
      • In USB mode: receives clock over USB.
      • In BLE mode: receives clock over Bluetooth.
    • Multi-Version Sound Editor & Auto-Detection:
      • The web flasher automatically identifies whether the connected SMK-37 is running v1.6.1 or v1.4.2 and loads the exact matching Synth Sound Editor and firmware card, with complete 57-object backup archive support.

      • Track 4: 808 KIT (Roland TR-808 circuit-modeled analog drums)
    • Interactive GLOBE Track Control on Drum Pads:
      • Pads 1–4 (top row): Toggle Mute for Tracks 1–4 (blinking white when active/sounding, dark when muted).
      • Pads 9–12 (bottom row): Momentary Solo for Tracks 1–4 illuminated in each track's vibrant UI color (bright on solo, medium when inactive).
      • Pad 13: Unmute All tracks ("All") with blinking white indicator.
    • Dual-Core Sound Engine: 4-part multitimbral polyphonic synthesis powered by dual-core CPU architecture.
