Tested package
Install asset: guitchordi-v0.1.0-beta.1.fwsc (609684 bytes). SHA-256: 330396f043093bcdda65aacbd0098dd1fc1f253a17d5707db19ff5d971e05217. Identity: FM-1_982; update loader included. This is a renamed copy of the exact tested binary, not a rebuild.
On one real FM-1: installation from stock V15 and Felucca 1.6.1; outgoing ordinary update to Felucca and return; reboot/independent USB identity checks and user-confirmed playing. Dense jazz/pattern playing reported peak render 2511 us, late buffers 0, invalid samples 0. Approximately 391 us / 13.5% of the audio-half deadline remained at the observed peak; this is not whole-CPU utilization or exhaustive timing proof.
Beta limitations
- Device SAVE is RAM-only; power cycling loses edits. Browser SAVE is browser-local.
- Other firmwares’ projects/patterns/samples are not imported, and storage preservation is not promised. Export your work before switching firmware.
- USB performance MIDI and USB audio are not implemented.
- Physical interrupted-write resume and full-backup restoration are untested. The developer chose not to deliberately interrupt the working unit. Local fault-injection tests are not physical recovery proof.
- Stack high-water margin, exhaustive worst-case timing and all-instrument stress duration are unmeasured.
- Locally built package; no GitHub build attestation. This release does not imply Firmware Hub acceptance.
