    Install and original-firmware restore discover compatible devices running old or corrected peer firmware names. OG restore depends on the helper protocol and selected model rather than the custom firmware version; custom installs require the selected application digest. Windows SMK Pro retains native process-isolated USB, with no browser MIDI fallback. Model, token, flash and package checks remain intact.

    Validation: native helper/client, discovery, simulated hosted Chrome install/restore, package and site checks passed. Simulated browser tests do not claim a physical Chrome disconnect test. Update local Windows helper copies from this branch. Felucca SMK 0.9.30 integrates upstream 1.6.1 and corrected USB names. This exact application passed owner Pro install/restart, version/name checks, saved conditional-project load, editor responses, stereo USB audio and original Pro 016 restore/restart. Its 0.9.29 foundation passed owner controls/sound/save/cold-restart validation. Elite/EB6014, final-build cold power-cycle and long-run checks remain unverified. Application SHA-256: e8ff418cb1eba18b92dd43b22eca08d8bd6e1e5165596c2775c08d749cf5b488. No experimental Bluetooth code included.

    Fixes rejection of the reported EB6014 flash chip in the updater and preset-storage probe. Existing protected-region, calibration and package checks remain in place. Installer and stock restore now display detailed loader failures.

    Validated on an SMK Pro with flash ID 856014: installed and restarted as SMK-37_928, rejected an invalid package before erase, then restored original Pro 016 with verified restart identity. Host regression suites pass. EB6014 and Elite hardware confirmation remain pending.

    Already-installed firmware with the old chip restriction cannot accept this update through that rejecting loader. See the scoped recovery report: https://github.com/ChanceTheMaker/felucca-smk/issues/17#issuecomment-6249932641 . The recovery ZIP itself is not claimed as hardware-validated. Credit to andyddd for the chip ID and recovery evidence.
