  1. v1.3.0Latest1 file

This is a tiny release making 2 backwards-compatible bootloader changes to:

    • Allow user bitstreams to load things from thumbdrives into psram before they start (i.e - without needing to spin up the USB core themselves). An example of this is added in src/top/wavplay.
    • Add support for apfbug/rp2040 newer than beta5 (whilst retaining support for older versions).

    What's Changed:

    Full Changelog: https://github.com/apfaudio/tiliqua/compare/v1.2.2...v1.3.0

  2. v1.2.21 file

Patch release mostly to bring in the video robustness fix from https://github.com/apfaudio/tiliqua/pull/182 before I flash a bunch more devices.

    What's Changed

    Full Changelog: https://github.com/apfaudio/tiliqua/compare/v1.2.1...v1.2.2

  3. v1.2.11 file

    Flashing instructions here

    Compared to v1.2.0:

    • all: unify beam decay/persist logic, reduce flickering and 'sweeping' effect at long decay times (PR #165)
    • sampler/GateDetector: increase detection threshold 2V -> 4V to squash ghost triggers

    Full Changelog: https://github.com/apfaudio/tiliqua/compare/v1.2.0...v1.2.1

  4. v1.2.01 file

    Flashing instructions here

    Compared to v1.1.x:

    Features

    • Adds TRS MIDI CC mappings to xbeam.
    • Adds a MIDI clock output on out2 to polysyn
    • Adds a MIDI-controlled 4-in/4-out matrix mixer bitstream (audio only)
    • Changes the Polysyn CV in1/in2 to be bipolar rather than unipolar
    • xbeam now has an 'x-zoom' control in the scope mode, which can be useful for filling the screen on 16:9 displays.
    • Improve help strings in polysyn/xbeam to include all CC mappings / description.

    Bugfix

    • Fixes some bugs with how MIDI was handled in polysyn, also remapping its CCs
    • Performance improvements under CC control (they shouldn't lag the UI any more)
    • Fixes a bug in xbeam where sometimes the scope would start far to the left of the screen.
    • Fix a bug in the docs where the bitstream docs were repeated twice

  5. v1.1.11 file

    Flashing instructions here

Minor bugfix, see v1.1.0 changelist for details on the last feature update.

This release fixes 2 issues with release tagging (mostly required for webflasher improvements):

    • All bitstreams with static video modes are now built twice, once for 720x720 (round screen) and once for 1280x720 (ext. monitor)
    • Bitstreams built in CI sometimes had the -d 'dirty' version tag appended, because .env.toolchain wasn't ignored properly

  6. v1.1.01 file

    Flashing instructions here

    Notes (for users)

    • feature/xbeam: lots of improvements - for all changes see notes on this PR
    • feature/polysyn: lots of new stuff - in short:
      • adjustable waveform, waveform processing, ADSR, LFO settings
      • CV-controllable phase, cutoffs, and drive up to audio rate
      • Most parameters now MIDI-CC controllable see docs
    • feature/sampler: new bitstream sampler - which can be a granular sampler / beat slicer / slewable delay line. See docs for details
    • bugfix: occasional video glitches when switching bitstreams
    • bugfix: USB host walks MIDI device descriptors more reliably
    • bugfix: sustain pedal support
    • bugfix: bootloader error strings don't collide with other UI elements
    • bugfix: fix calibration bugs when compiling with wider native sample rates (e.g. > 16 bits)

    Details: merged since v1.0.0:

    What's Changed

  8. v1.0.12 files

Minor release - after flashing 50 Tiliquas, I discovered some PLLs lock a bit slower than others, which caused more video glitches when switching bitstreams. This release fixes this by always holding the DVI PLL in reset across switches, and also improves timing a bit along the way.

    What's Changed

Note: On the first 50 units I only re-flashed the bootloader as that is where these changes actually make a difference, so some have bootloader v1.0.1 and user bitstreams v1.0.0.

Attached are all bitstreams built for all existing hardware platforms. plus a bonus one that wasn't quite ready to merge yet

  9. v1.0.02 files

First 'production' release (this suite of bitstreams will be flashed to CS R5 Tiliquas). Includes built-in help pages on most SoC bitstreams.

I was tempted to call this v0.1.0, but given that from this release onward, it will be important to track breaking changes in the bootloader / manifest system per semantic versioning, it's probably best to start with v1.0.0 and bump the major version on any breaking manifest / bootloader changes.
