    M-VAVE SMK-37 Pro Custom Firmware v022

    Custom firmware modification for the M-VAVE SMK-37 Pro MIDI controller keyboard (JieLi AC791N SoC) that resolves Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) pairing and continuous note transmission with embedded host grooveboxes/synthesizers (especially Woovebox 3.0 in hoSt bLE mode) and provides rock-solid DAW stability.

    🚀 Quick Flashing Guide (Windows)

    1. Connect your SMK-37 Pro keyboard to your PC via USB cable.
    2. Close all DAWs (Ableton, FL Studio, Reaper) or MIDI utilities.
    3. Unzip SMK-37_Pro_custom_v022_flasher.zip and double-click flash_v022.bat.
    4. Wait ~15 seconds until the flashing reaches 100% and the keyboard reboots.

    🔍 Technical Patches in v022

    • Patch 1 (Secondary Advertising Suppression, Offset 0x0013D2): NOPs out the secondary BLE advertising trigger upon CCCD notification subscription, eliminating RF channel 37/38/39 collision bursts and reconnect loops.
    • Patch 2 (Supervision Timeout & Connection Parameters, Offset 0x05839E): Increased supervision timeout from 1,000 ms to 4,000 ms with relaxed connection intervals (7.5-20 ms / 15-30 ms), tolerating ESP32 scheduling jitter without link drops.
    • Patch 3 (SMP "Just Works" Bonding, Offsets 0x087446, 0x08758A, 0x0875C4): Configured auth_req = 0x01 (Bonding enabled without MITM), IO_CAP = 3 (NoInputNoOutput), and removed mandatory Secure Connections for full BLE 4.0/4.2 compatibility.
    • Patch 4 (Unconditional BLE-MIDI Notifications, Offset 0x000AEE): Bypasses the CCCD descriptor check in the MIDI note transmit gateway (0x02000AD4), guaranteeing notes are never silenced if the Central skips re-writing descriptor 0x2902 on reconnection.
    • Patch 5 (Clean Unique MAC Address Generation, Offsets 0x0035CE, 0x003668): Redirects Flash VM MAC key from 102 to 108, generating a fresh, clean Bluetooth address to bypass stale/corrupt bond caches in host devices.
    • Patch 6 (Version Bump & Container Integrity): Bumped internal strings and container markers to SMK-37 Pro_022, re-encrypted JLFS App Area with SFC chipkey 0x980F, and recalculated all CRCs.

    • Woovebox 3.0: Verified in hoSt bLE (4/Ar track mode). Immediate connection, solid BT LED, real-time note response with near-zero latency.
    • USB MIDI & DAWs: Verified with Ableton Live, Reaper, Logic with dynamic velocity tracking (25-93) across all 37 keys and zero stuck notes.
    • Official M-VAVE App: 100% backward compatible (proprietary advertising descriptor preserved).
