• Added CHN chance and RND random commands for conditional and randomized phrase and table effects.
• Added song grid selection for mixdown, stem rendering, and project resampling. Selection renders are saved in the project pool with automatically numbered filenames.
• Added support for exFAT SD cards.
• Added MIDI input interface selection, so TRS and USB input can be configured independently of MIDI output.
• Added MIDI Program Bank Select. The selected 14-bit bank is sent before each MIDI Program Change.
• MIDI programs can now be auditioned when edited.
• Added tied notes for MIDI and sample instruments.

Improvements

• OPAL now maintains an independent voice for each tracker channel, allowing an instrument to play on multiple channels without sharing voice state.
• Reduced variable memory use and fixed string variable copies that use shared storage.
• Project Save As now reports sample copy progress and uses larger shared buffers. Sample imports also reuse the shared WAV output buffer.
• Pattern allocation now searches higher pattern numbers first, wrapping when necessary.
• Tempo is capped at 300 BPM.
• Pan values now move in the intuitive direction.
• Instrument types can be changed during playback when no phrase is using the instrument.
• The Live mode indicator now shows how to exit Live mode.
• The project screen presents Save before Browse.
• Rebuilding the instrument field preserves its focused item.
• Deleting unused samples no longer shifts pool indices that are still being checked.
• The phrase command picker no longer cycles through the table-only IRT command.
• Updated the Advance manual to firmware v3.1 and added instrument performance guidance; updated its build tooling and callout layout.

Fixes

• Delayed DLY rows now retain their notes, commands, and transpose across groove steps.
• Pasting effect data now targets the cursor's column and preserves source columns when command types are incompatible.
• B navigation now hops over empty chains in chain and phrase views.
• Importing a sample with a filename already in the project pool is refused, preventing the existing WAV from being overwritten.
• Fixed file pool exhaustion during sample preview by synchronizing file cleanup and closing the streamer on stop and end of file.
• Project browsing now filters out directories without lgptsav.dat.

• The pico adapter now tracks its current working directory, and SdFat was updated to 2.3.1.
• Extended the runtime identifier range while preserving saved command bytes and RAM usage.
