    Octabam v0.1, built from tag v0.1 (c02fec6c). The first release: Octatrack OS 1.40C patched with the octabam remix, built in the browser on your own copy of 1.40C.

    Contents: the core ColdFire modules (BRAIN, KITS, MIDI SCENES, PLOCKS P2, USB and others), all 14 stock effects, and SPECTRUM, CHARACTER and MODULATION loaded on demand.

    Superseded by v0.2. v0.1 includes FX2 LOCK, which blocks FX2 effect picks.

    No Elektron files are attached.

  2. v0.2Octabam v0.20 files

    Octabam v0.2, built from tag v0.2 (c528d132). Octatrack OS 1.40C patched with the octabam remix; the build runs in the browser on your own copy of 1.40C.

    Changes from v0.1:

    • VARISPEED added: STATIC and FLEX TSTR gets a fifth position, VARI; PTCH becomes QUAN on a VARI track.
    • FX2 LOCK removed from octabam. It made the FX2 chooser's YES close without selecting, so no FX2 pick took effect. It stays in octabam-bus.

    Measured on Sam's MKII, 2 Nov 2026:

    • Image OCTABAMV5 (same composition as v0.2): FX2 picks take effect.
    • Loader soak, 32 program-change transitions: 3 unapplied without VARISPEED, 4 with it. The cause is not found.

    Not run on a unit: image OCTABAM02 itself; the hardware suite on this composition.

    No Elektron files are attached. The web builder patch is docs/site/builder/patches/octabam.obp in the repository (sha256 9dea5b5498b1921fdd4bf8e1bf239d51ccf1bdf6e991ed4f3bda78f40794e9ae).
