Pressing Stop twice can no longer cut or reset the voice. MPC's plugin host sets the first parameter (Machine) to its maximum and back on every Stop; the voice could swap machine twice if it saw that jump. The engine now ignores that transient jump.
Same download as before: nothing of Elektron's inside; put your own Elektron_SFX6-60_OS1.32B.syx in the plugin's monomodule/ folder.
v1.0.3Monomodule 1.0.32 files
Lower CPU on Gen2 (MPC Live III). The DSP and voice threads now run on the Live III's fast cores (Cortex-A76) instead of a slow Cortex-A55 core, and below MPC's own audio threads in priority so they never take time from MPC's audio engine. Measured with 8 voices held: about 8% of a core, was 31%. Gen1 (Force, MPC Live/One/X): unchanged. Audio is bit-identical (gate passed on all 22 machines).
Same download as before: nothing of Elektron's inside; put your own Elektron_SFX6-60_OS1.32B.syx in the plugin's monomodule/ folder.
v1.0.2Monomodule 1.0.22 files
- OS file check in the installer app. Monomodule One declares its files, so the installer app's Your ROMs and files step checks your Monomachine OS 1.32B
.syx(by its exact size and Elektron header) and saves it asElektron_SFX6-60_OS1.32B.syxwhatever it is called on your computer. Kit dumps go tomonomodule/dumps/the same way. A kit dump is never taken as the OS file. Monomodule FX keeps reading One's copy. - Effects: correct audio at MPC block sizes 32/64/96/192 (wrapper fix sd88me/mpc-vst-plugins#676).

v1.0.1Monomodule 1.0.12 files
Fixes the missing skin in 1.0.0 (that release has been withdrawn). The plugin keeps its name "Monomodule One": MPC finds a plugin's skin by the plugin's name, and 1.0.0 had renamed the list entry without renaming the folder.
If you installed 1.0.0: install this over it, load the plugin once (it makes its skin from your OS file) and restart MPC.
Everything else from 1.0.0 is here:
- POLY mode (Gen2): the VOICES knob on the GLOBAL page (also a Q-Link) runs 1 to 6 voices with note allocation. The Force stays at 1 voice.
- LEV is a knob; Q-Link outlines cover the GLOBAL cells.
- Output is 6 dB hotter with a soft limiter.
- Nothing of Elektron's is in the zips: put your own Monomachine OS 1.32B file in the plugin's
monomodule/folder.
v0.11.1Monomodule 0.11.12 files
Gen2 (MPC Live III) zips only. Fixes the bundled INSTALL.md, which now gives the Gen2 install command (-t /nvme/Synths) and plugin list key. Plugin unchanged from 0.11.0.
v0.10.2v0.10.2: reloads and the autosampler keep your sound0 files
Monomodule One and Monomodule FX are an MPC port by sd88me of shnolk's Monomodule engine; all credit for the emulation goes to shnolk. Please report problems with this port here.
- A reloaded project, clip or autosampler pass keeps your sound. MPC probes the machine parameter (sets another value, then straight back) around project load, clip play and the autosampler. Each machine change reset the pages and wiped the restored patch. The plugin now puts the replaced sound back when its machine returns within half a second.
- Includes everything in 0.10.1: saving and reloading keeps your patch, and the build now targets glibc 2.31 so the plugins load on MPC OS 2.x as well as 3.x.
No downloadable build: it needs your own Monomachine OS file (see the README).
v0.10.1v0.10.1: saving keeps your patch; loads on MPC OS 2.x0 files
Monomodule One and Monomodule FX are an MPC port by sd88me of shnolk's Monomodule engine; all credit for the emulation goes to shnolk. Please report problems with this port here.
- Saving and reloading keeps your patch. A saved MPC project, program or plugin preset used to come back as the Init sound. The plugin now stores every knob, the machine, and the preset and bank selection.
- Loads on MPC OS 2.x. The plugin is now built against glibc 2.31 (it needs at most GLIBC 2.29; before, 2.36), so it loads on MPC OS 2.x as well as 3.x. CPU use is unchanged on a Force.
- Build it yourself: the build image is now
debian:bullseye. If you built before, the build uses a new image automatically and discards objects from the old one.
Tested on an Akai Force, MPC OS 3.9.1. No downloadable build: it needs your own Monomachine OS file (see the README).
v0.10.0v0.10.0: listed under sd88me0 files
Monomodule One and Monomodule FX are an MPC port by sd88me of shnolk's Monomodule engine. All credit for the emulation goes to shnolk. The plugins are now listed in MPC under the manufacturer sd88me, because shnolk doesn't make or support this port: please report problems here, not to shnolk.
- Installing renames your old
shnolk - VST - Monomodule Oneand⦠FXfolders, keeping your kit dumps, and replaces the plugin-list entries (no duplicates). Saved projects reload. - Skin: the header reads MONO MODULE instead of shnolk's logo, and the machine selector lines up with the SYN page.
- Build: fixed a packaging check that could fail on a good build.
Tested on an Akai Force, MPC OS 3.9.1. No downloadable build: it needs your own Monomachine OS file (see the README).
