  1. v0.4FoMni-1 0.4Latest1 file
    • Screen reader: FoMni-1 tells the FM-1 Screen Reader what its screen shows, over USB: the page and its knobs, a knob's value as it turns, the chord you play, play and stop, and what each button did. Open the page in Chrome with the FM-1 plugged in.
    • Installer: it can put an FM-1 back on M-VAVE's own firmware from M-VAVE's FM1 Open firmware too.
    • README: the drums' MIDI notes on channel 10.
  2. v0.3.2FoMni-1 0.3.21 file
    • PLAY is green: PLAY now uses its green light, for the beat while the rhythm plays and for its dim glow.
  3. v0.3.1FoMni-1 0.3.11 file
    • Readable buttons in the dark: the buttons that aren't lit now glow dimly, so their labels can be read on the black FM-1. The Setup page's Key lights setting is now Lights: On (the default, and what a saved "on" becomes) shows the key lights and the glow, Keys shows the key lights only, Off neither.
  4. v0.3FoMni-1 0.31 file
    • Chords from a keyboard: notes on MIDI channel 2 (USB or the TRS jack) pick the chord, as if you'd pressed a black key. A held C E G Bb plays as C7, the Omnichord's way; inversions work.
    • MIDI clock in: the rhythm follows incoming clock and start / stop / continue; the screen shows EXT in place of the tempo.
    • MIDI clock out: when the rhythm runs on its own tempo, it sends clock and start / stop over USB (with MIDI out on).
    • The MIDI section of the README and the site lists what goes in and out on each channel.

  5. v0.2FoMni-1 0.21 file
    • A new reverb: Dattorro's plate, stereo and slowly modulated. Space now runs from a small room (~1.3 s) to a long hall (~11 s).
    • Separate reverb sends: Reverb for the strings, the new Chord rev for the chord and bass. The drums stay dry.
    • Lo-fi is gone; Chord rev takes its knob. Projects saved in 0.1 keep everything, with Chord rev at its default.
    • The firmware is now called FoMni: on the start screen, and as "FoMni FM-1" on USB.
    • The emulator has a guide to the buttons, and every control shows what it does on hover.

  6. v0.1FoMni 0.11 file

The first release of FoMni, a chord harp for the M-VAVE FM-1, inspired by the Omnichord.

    • The 16 white keys are a strum plate, voiced like the Omnichord's (root, third, fifth in an F#–F window, five groups up and a root on top).
    • The 11 black keys are chord buttons you can reassign. Hold ENV for the minor, LFO for the 7th, both for the m7.
    • Two harp voices (one shimmering, one plain), sustain, an organ-like chord with its bass, reverb.
    • The OM-84's ten rhythms with auto bass sync, sync start and chord hold.
    • MIDI out: strings, chord, bass and drums on channels 1, 2, 3 and 10.
    • Light, friendly screen; saves by itself.
