  1. firmware-20261102CircuitPython for the FM-1 Flasher (Feather RP2350 + USB Host FeatherWing), Nov 2 2026Latest1 file

    Custom CircuitPython firmware for the FM-1 Flasher on the Adafruit Feather RP2350 with the MAX3421E USB Host FeatherWing (5858) and the TFT FeatherWing V2 3.5".

    Stock CircuitPython for the Feather RP2350 uses the built-in PIO USB host and can't drive the FeatherWing, so this build is needed for now (adafruit/circuitpython#11697).

    Install: hold BOOT, press and release RESET, then copy the .uf2 to the RP2350 drive.

    What it is: CircuitPython main at bf9a1fc492, reporting 11.0.0-alpha.2-62-g4de5615a2b, with three lines added to ports/raspberrypi/boards/adafruit_feather_rp2350/mpconfigboard.mk:

    CIRCUITPY_MAX3421E = 1
    CIRCUITPY_USB_HOST = 0
    CFLAGS += -DCFG_TUH_ENUMERATION_BUFSIZE=512

    main already includes the MAX3421E shared-SPI-bus fix (#11695). The 512-byte buffer lets the FM-1's 293-byte USB descriptor mount.

    SHA-256: 30a848ab059873ac131e659f8c6ef56829fe978f2820a452efdf988ba8f7895e

    Tested: DUB-1 installed 5 of 5, V15 installed 4 of 5. The one failure couldn't be explained, and running the install again worked. Details are in DEVNOTES §6.21.

    This firmware is frozen at this CircuitPython version. It will be rebuilt the same way once a CircuitPython release includes #11695.
