  1. v0.3.0-betaDigitakt II All-in-One v0.3.0 Community BetaBeta6 files

Digitakt II All-in-One — experimental community beta

Windows x64 offline builder for your own official Digitakt II OS 1.17. No Elektron firmware is included. No Python, Rust or WSL is needed; the app creates a file only and never connects to or flashes the instrument.

Practical HOW TO — Plaits, Musical WAVE, Déjà Vu and Zoom/Pan · Installation · Recovery

Windows presentation revision r2: corrected title, full feature list, All-in-One ready status, readable credits/source links and invalid-file handling. No firmware or DSP changes.

    Included

    • 25 optimized Plaits model selections and four DX7 patch banks from Tyler Neely/spacejam.
    • Kári’s graphical Plaits UI 2.1, with the duplicate upper DX7 patch name removed and the lower name preserved.
    • Musical WAVE V4 / Déjà Vu and One-Shot Zoom & Pan V11.
    • Original Elektron intro animation, followed by five seconds of DigiKit legal credits.

    Download and source

Download DT2-All-in-One-v0.3.0-beta-Windows-r2.zip and extract it. Choose the official OS 1.17 file, choose a new output filename, then Build. Read the included README/recovery prerequisites before any deliberate installation. The executable is unsigned.

The Windows ZIP includes complete corresponding source, notices and validation. The same source is separately available as DT2-All-in-One-Corresponding-Source-r2.zip. Use this explicit asset, NOT GitHub’s automatically generated source archives of the older research repository. Keep source and notices with redistributed builders; do not redistribute the generated Elektron-containing SYX.

The unnumbered Windows/source ZIPs and SHA256SUMS.txt are the previous presentation revision retained for rollback. Use the r2 ZIPs and SHA256SUMS-r2.txt above. Both builders generate the same firmware.

    Validation and limitations

The recurring Plaits trigger click remains. No click fix is claimed. Kári has hardware-confirmed boot/audio/model selection and DX7 UI on the preceding build. This exact upper-label-fix plus credits release image is NOT hardware-tested. Credits passed 1,635 bounded callback/ABI/framebuffer cases; the Windows builder, source/package, HMAC, section and output-identity checks passed. DSP, bootstrap, updater and all non-MAIN sections are byte-identical to the accepted UI-fix baseline. Existing encoding/SHARC boot evidence applies to that unchanged DSP.

DSP engine/track-count limits apply; no 16-track guarantee. Old14 MODEL values/p-locks are incompatible. Exhaustive persistence, modulation and long-session stability are not guaranteed. Earlier Plaits builds have failed normal Transfer updates; have official stock firmware and a physical MIDI-DIN startup-recovery path available.

  2. v0.2.0-betaDigitakt II Déjà Vu + ONESHOT Zoom v0.2.0 BetaBeta1 file

Digitakt II Déjà Vu + ONESHOT Zoom v0.2.0 Beta

This release adds the hardware-tested ONESHOT waveform Zoom edition for official Digitakt II OS 1.17. OS 1.16 remains supported for Déjà Vu only.

Download builder → Select official stock OS → Build → Install via Elektron Transfer

The builder detects the stock version by exact SHA-256, displays it in the GUI, applies only the matching frozen manifest, verifies all six firmware sections and container integrity, and fails closed on every other input. No official or patched Elektron firmware is included.

    Hardware status

All three exact outputs have physical Digitakt II validation for normal boot and normal operation. Déjà Vu covers DV-F, DV-T and retrigger. The OS 1.17 Zoom edition covers 1x, 2x and 3.75x ONESHOT waveform detail, panning, and encoder-C controls. This is beta evidence rather than exhaustive long-term regression.

On the ONESHOT SRC waveform page, press encoder C to cycle 1x, 2x, 3.75x and 1x; turn C to pan while zoomed. Zoom requires Déjà Vu and is therefore offered only as the combined OS 1.17 edition.

Digitakt II Déjà Vu v0.1.1 Beta

This release adds official Digitakt II OS 1.17 support to the standalone Windows builder. OS 1.17 is recommended; the exact OS 1.16 path remains supported and unchanged.

The builder detects the stock version by exact SHA-256, displays it in the GUI, applies only the matching frozen manifest, verifies all six firmware sections and container integrity, and fails closed on every other input. No official or patched Elektron firmware is included.

    Hardware status

The exact OS 1.17 output has initial physical Digitakt II validation: normal boot, DV-F modulation, DV-T modulation and retrigger, and normal operation passed with no problems observed. The exact OS 1.16 V5.1 output remains hardware tested. This is beta evidence rather than exhaustive long-term regression.

  4. v0.1.0-betaDigitakt II Déjà Vu v0.1.0 BetaBeta1 file

Digitakt II Déjà Vu v0.1.0 Beta

This beta adds two random-loop waveforms to all three Digitakt II LFOs:

    • DV-F: free-running random loop.
    • DV-T: random loop whose read position resets on the track trigger.

MODE selects 2, 4, 8, 16, or 32 steps. SPH controls refresh, lock, and reorder behavior. Stock WAVE 0–6 remain available.

    Simple Windows workflow

    1. Download DT2-DejaVu-Builder-v0.1.0-beta-Windows.zip and extract it.
    2. Run DT2-DejaVu-Builder.exe.
    3. Select the official Digitakt II OS 1.16 .syx obtained from Elektron Support & Downloads.
    4. Click Build Déjà Vu and wait for the success message.
    5. Install the generated file manually with Elektron Transfer.

The builder contains no Elektron firmware and performs no USB/MIDI transmission or flashing. It accepts only stock OS 1.16 SHA-256 278541e466edcd77d6b3e018a91fb90185932d3c7de224dd3e68294dddf3a9ec and writes only the exact tested V5.1 result SHA-256 d9fe67b3778ce5d31aaaa807e6e43ac1929d0f36a10c393adc0a8c590c547835.

    Hardware evidence

V5.1 was generated with the Windows builder and tested on Digitakt II hardware: normal boot, clean DV-F/DV-T labels, audible modulation from both waveforms, DV-T repeat/retrigger behavior, and working stock LFO waveforms were observed.

Broad MIDI, sequencer/transport, save/reload/power-cycle persistence, and long-duration regression remain incomplete. Digitakt II OS 1.16 is the only supported base.

    Read before installing

This is unsigned, unofficial firmware. Windows SmartScreen may warn about the unsigned builder. Back up important data and keep official stock OS 1.16 plus a physical MIDI interface available.
