    Eye Candy for your digis, on command...

    Full-panel overlay mods for the Elektron Digitakt mk1 (OS 1.53) and Digitone mk1 / Digitone Keys (OS 1.43). Press TRK+YES (Digitakt) or MIDI+YES (Digitone) to cover the screen with a 128x64 image while the machine keeps running; press again to remove it.

    Each device zip is elemods only (plus INSTALL.md, README.md, LICENSE).

    Install (quick)

    Needs the matching core mod and a stock OS .syx you obtain yourself.

    Flash: power off, hold FUNC, choose OS UPGRADE, send the .syx with Elektron Transfer. Recovery: same menu, send the stock .syx back. Full guide in INSTALL.md inside each zip.

    Notes

    • Work in progress; tested on hardware. Known bug: a lone YES after exiting can re-trigger, so tap TRK/MIDI twice first.
    • Overlays hook the panel present path: install one at a time, and treat it as mutually exclusive with any other mod hooking panel_diff / panel_flush.
    • Code and tools are GPL-2.0-or-later. Overlays are for personal, educational and non-commercial use. No Elektron firmware is included.
