    Unison Index Modulation Source

    New per-voice modulation source (UNISON_INDEX) that assigns a unique value to each unison voice. Patch it to any oscillator-level parameter for per-voice timbral variation from a single note.

    Supported destinations: pitch, volume, phase width, wave index, phase, carrier/modulator feedback, start offset.

    Three knobs in the Unison menu control the distribution:

    • Shape — 8 zones with intra-zone meta parameters:
      • Linear (bias), Power (exponent), S-Curve (steepness), Step (levels), Triangle (peak position), Sine (cycles), Random (stability), Drift (rate)
    • Mapping — 8 zones controlling how values are assigned to voices:
      • Symmetric (tightness), Anti-sym (blend), Pitch+ (correlation curve), Pitch− (correlation curve), Center-out (focus position), Rotate (amount), Pairs (grouping), Shuffle (intensity)
    • Curve — bipolar warp (-50 to +50): center-heavy at negative, linear at zero, edge-heavy at positive

    Drift shape provides per-block bounded random walk with mean reversion for continuously evolving textures.

    Cached unisonIndexValues[] array on Sound minimizes render-path cost. Volume offsets use domain-scaled arithmetic to prevent gain mismatch across FM/subtractive modes.
